President’s Message 
Thanks again to all of the members of our club for your efforts to reach out to your friends and neighbors for our May 7th Big Day of Giving.
Also, thanks to all of the members who were able to gather in your vehicles for a drive by birthday celebration for Lion Joe Tallerico. It was a very special time and I know that Joe really appreciated our efforts.
Since we have not been able to meet for our regular club meetings, we have made the decision to go with Zoom meetings online.
We held our first Zoom meeting for the May Board Meeting as well as for the last meeting of the month for May.
We will be holding our June meetings online as well. |

Lions are in 200 countries and geographic areas. We have 45,000 clubs with over 1.3 million members world wide. We have a dynamic history. We are best known for fighting blindness — it’s part of our history as well as our work today. But we also volunteer for many different kinds of projects including disaster relief — across many borders. We serve youth. Our community projects often support local children and schools with new programs and resources. Internationally, we offer many programs.

Lion Joe Tallerico is undergoing chemo treatments on Mondays. Please reach out to him during this difficult time for him and his wife, Lynda.
As many of you know, Lion Sterling has been in a care facility since his stroke. He would love to have some visits from his Lion friends. Call ahead to make sure he is not out on a field trip. He is at Emeritus of Laguna Creek, 6727 Laguna Park Drive, EG, CA. 95758 916-683-1881
