President’s Message 
Lion President Brad Dano
We rested a bit in January, but were back to full steam in February. Thanks to Lions Don and Jim and their crew for handling the pancake breakfast at the Senior Center. Lion Warren and crew, along with a potential new member, Stan, worked the Annual Spaghetti Feed at Markofer Elementery school. We also worked the Pack 179 Blue and Gold banquet and the Burgers and Brew at the Elk Grove Pavilion.
Lion John and Lion Jack handled a great student speaker contest and we sent a repeat winner to the Sutter Zone contest on March 5th. Congratulations to Kathy Le.
We voted in two new members, Stan Pochop and Lyndon King. Congratulations and welcome aboard.

Lions are in 200 countries and geographic areas. We have 45,000 clubs with over 1.3 million members world wide. We have a dynamic history. We are best known for fighting blindness — it’s part of our history as well as our work today. But we also volunteer for many different kinds of projects including disaster relief — across many borders. We serve youth. Our community projects often support local children and schools with new programs and resources. Internationally, we offer many programs.
