Wow, we are already moving into fall as “We Serve” with Pride as Lions to our community at large. The monthly pancake breakfast, for not just the Senior Center, but our community is always a delight. We serve breakfast at the Senior Center of Elk Grove on the second Saturday of each month. We will be helping the Elk Grove Senior Center on the 14th at their Harvest of Hope fundraising gala at the Sheldon Inn.
We’ll be serving up a delicious pasta meal for a local elementary (Arnold Adreani) school’s in support of their fundraiser on the 20th of September. And, if that is not enough, we are looking forward to helping the Elk Grove Historical Society on the 22nd at the Pinkerton Picnic in the Park as well as cooking on the 26th for the Map The Future event with the Elk Grove Optimists.
Looking into the coming month, the Lions will be helping to kick off the fall in partnership with the Cosumnes Community Services District at the Elk Grove Giant Pumpkin Festival, October 5 – 6, 2019 at the Regional Park. Be sure to come on out to join in the festivities. We are also looking forward to assisting the Elk Grove Strauss Festival on their Masquerade Ball on October 19th.
Additionally, please be sure to “Mark” the first Saturday of December, the 7th, for our club’s fundraiser, the Elk Grove Lions Club Crab Feed. The funds raised allows us to help the community, so we will look forward to seeing all of you at the SES Hall on the evening of December 7th. Tickets are available online now. Click Here to go to the ticket page. Thanks for your support.
We are one of many organizations who work to make Elk Grove a great place, and we, the Elk Grove Lions, are proud to be a part of serving you, our community.
Thank you!

Club President (2019/2020)

Lions are in 200 countries and geographic areas. We have 45,000 clubs with over 1.3 million members world wide. We have a dynamic history. We are best known for fighting blindness — it’s part of our history as well as our work today. But we also volunteer for many different kinds of projects including disaster relief — across many borders. We serve youth. Our community projects often support local children and schools with new programs and resources. Internationally, we offer many programs.
We hope you will consider joining our club.
To become a Lion, you must be of good moral character and good reputation in our community.
Membership is by invitation.
