Rick Schriver, age 61, passed away unexpectedly on June 1, 2018 from cardiac arrest.

Rick was a loving father and husband; a caring man to his family, friends and community.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Jessie, daughters Chelsi Schriver and Marissa Allen, son-in-law Stuart Allen and granddaughter Annabelle. He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Dortha Schriver of Salinas.

Rick was a 20+ year member of the Elk Grove Lion’s Club where he held every board position, and most recently a member of the Fort Sutter Lion’s Club of Sacramento. He coached his daughters in soccer and softball and was an active member of the community, always willing to lend a helping hand. Rick was an avid snow skier and a cowboy at heart. He was at his best when helping others.

A celebration of life will be held July 20, 2018 from 11am – 1pm at the Pavilion in Elk Grove Park located at 9950 Elk Grove-Florin Road, Elk Grove CA 95624.
