Louis Zehnder passed peacefully on February 1st, 2018. He was a long-time resident of Sacramento and Elk Grove. He was married for 43 years to Carol MacAllister Zehnder, who preceded him in death in 1992. He was survived by four children, Karen, Jeff, Chris, and Dave; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. He was a Firefighter for 32 years, retired in 1985 and moved to Elk Grove to follow his passion of being a farmer. He was a farmer for 25 years. Friends and Family are invited to a Memorial Service held at St. Mary’s Cemetery and Funeral center 6509 Fruitridge road in Sacramento on February 12th, 2018 beginning with a Meditation at 9:00 a.m.; Rosary at 9:30 a.m. and at 10:00 a.m. a Memorial Service immediately followed by a celebration of Life luncheon. Remembrances can be sent to the American Cancer Society.
