Hello Everyone: It looks like we made it through the Christmas Holiday as well as New Year’s Eve. Thanks again for all of your support in December. I know that we are all busy with our families, but all of you are very special in that you all take the time to give to our community. The Annual Crab Feed raised funds to allow us to continue to support the various projects that we do.
We had a great Christmas Party, and Lion Andy, even though he had a bit of a cold, was able to lead us in some great Christmas songs. Santa was a hit for the grandkids who were there with us.
A great time was had by all.
Also, thanks to Lion Don and Lion Jim for their continued work, along with their crew, to provide an outstanding pancake breakfast for the Senior Center each month.
I look forward to seeing all of you on the 14th of January for the meeting of the new year..

Lions are in 200 countries and geographic areas. We have 45,000 clubs with over 1.3 million members world wide. We have a dynamic history. We are best known for fighting blindness — it’s part of our history as well as our work today. But we also volunteer for many different kinds of projects including disaster relief — across many borders. We serve youth. Our community projects often support local children and schools with new programs and resources. Internationally, we offer many programs.
We hope you will consider joining our club.
To become a Lion, you must be of good moral character and good reputation in our community.

As we move towards Christmas I want to again tell all of you how much I appreciate your support. I am just now coming up to the half way point of my term as your President and have been honored by all you do for me, the club and our community. In just a couple of days, we will have our Annual Crab and Shrimp Feed. Thanks to all who has worked hard through November to get us ready for this major fundraiser, the last one of the year.
I hope most of you will be able to attend our Annual Christmas dinner that is coming up in a couple of weeks. Make sure to bring your partner, kids and grandkids. Santa will be there to make an even more special night. We can expect Lion Andy, the only one of us who can really sing, lead us in Christmas songs to call for the arrival of Santa with a great rendition of “Here Comes Santa Clause.”
I know that many of you are very busy this month but I hope that you take some time to join your fellow Lions at the Christmas parties throughout the month. What a wonderful time to visit and share the holiday season without having to be working a special event.
See you all next year, and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Hello Everyone: Thanks to Lion Jey for an outstanding fundraiser with our Annual Day of the Dead Carnitas Festival. The food was great. The decorations were great, and everyone who attended had a great time. Thanks also to all who sold tickets and who assisted with this great event.
We also had a great event with the Senior Center Pancake Breakfast. Thanks again to Lion Jim and Lion Don for their hard work.
No time to take a break though. Lion Jack has already printed tickets for our December Crab and Shrimp Feed. As usual, it will be on the first Saturday in December. Get your tickets from Lion Jack and SELL, SELL, SELL. This will be our last big fundraiser for the year. Special thanks out to Lion Taka for not only handling the raffle prizes for the Carnitas Dinner, he is the chair person for the crab feed.
If we didn’t have such a dedicated group of Lions, I don’t know what I would do for fundraisers.
You are all a great team and very much appreciated.
