Dell W. Primasing of Herald, CA was called home to our Heavenly Father on January 11, 2017 at the age of 82.
Dell was born in Courtland California to Dr. Raymond and Esther Primasing on January 6, 1935. Dell graduated from Christian Brothers High School and than married the love of his life Crystal Colby before serving in the Korean War. Dell was a farmer by trade but had many interests and gave a lot of his time to volunteering to the communities in which he lived.
He was a long time Reserve Sacramento County Deputy Sheriff/ Delta Patrol. After his young family moved to Elk Grove he became active in his local catholic church and the Native Sons as well as the Lions Club. The next move for the family was to Wilton where he was a volunteer firefighter for over 20 years.
After losing his beloved wife of 48 years in 2003 he moved to Herald with his daughter Blyth and Son-In-Law Ken Deam along with his Grandson Austin. He became active once again with the Herald Fire Department. This time however he was an elected official in the capacity of Fire Commissioner.
He is survived by one brother, John Primasing. His children: Kevin Primasing (Teri), Mary McGee (Nathan), Brian Primasing, Mark Primasing (Lisa), Blyth Deam (Ken) and Edward Primasing. Many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Per Dell’s wishes, no services will be held.
